Job Description:

The department of Health, Fitness and Sport at Wittenberg University is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor of Sport Management.  This is a full-time, tenure track position, depending upon candidate's qualifications and experience, beginning August, 2018.   Applicants should be able to demonstrate teaching experience and specialization in sport management, including sport law, sport marketing, ethics in sport management, event planning and facility management, sport management policy and related areas.   The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead and further develop the sport management major as well as contribute to other programs within the HFS dept.  Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate college-level teaching effectiveness, show expertise in the field of sport industry, and a commitment to a liberal arts & sciences education.


A Ph.D. in a related field is required (ABD doctoral candidates will be considered) and NASSM certification is desired.
