Job description

Duties: Provide support for instructional technology systems and applications at PennVet. Assist in the maintenance and daily operation of Moodle LMS; provide administrative and user support for E*Value; and provide user support for all instructional technology software and systems, including Moodle LMS, Poll Everywhere, and Panopto. Provide support to students with issues relating to LockDown Browser, Moodle quizzes, laptops, and connecting to AirPennNet wireless during online exams (95% of Penn Vet's exams are online). Assist with the EMS scheduling system and LimeSurvey server as needed. This position works closely with the Penn Vet community including faculty, staff, and students to assist with their instructional technology needs. This is a customer support position and requires excellent customer service, communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

Qualifications: A level: BA/BS degree is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
B level: BA/BS and 1-3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Moodle LMS, E*Value, Panopto, Poll Everywhere, EMS scheduling system, LimeSurvey, and classroom AV systems. Qualified applicants must be well versed in Microsoft Office and using Moodle (or Canvas LMS) from the teacher and/or administrative perspective. Instructional technology or AV support experience at a university is preferred. Familiarity with Mac and Windows laptops, connecting to AirPennNet wireless networks, and use of LockDown Browser preferred. Our candidates must possess good team skills, organizational, and time management skills; be able to handle and prioritize multiple projects; and be able to work under pressure. All candidates must have a strong customer service orientation and a set of solid interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written. Background check is required.
