MGR RES PROJECT A
Duties: Experienced project manager with strong research and administrative skills is sought to provide leadership for several grant-funded projects. Directly reporting to the principal investigator (PI), this person will be responsible for administrative and logistical oversight of all grant activities for these research studies. Responsibilities include serving as a liaison between the PIs and the rest of the team, including other investigators, study staff, consultants, and other internal and external entities, managing and monitoring operations, managing the grant budget, and supervising operational staff as needed.
Qualifications: The minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a health-related field and 3 to 5 years of experience in a health-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, are required. Master's degree is a plus. The successful candidate will be extremely well organized and resourceful. The project manager must be quantitatively and analytically skilled, thrive in multi-tasking environments, and be a self-starter with a results orientation. Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint is required. Familiarity with STATA and EndNote is desired. The project manager will interact with a variety of faculty members, staff, and students throughout the university, so strong interpersonal communication skills are essential. High accuracy, dependability, and attention to detail will be vital to success in the position. The project manager should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
