Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Marketing/ Analytics/Innovation

Primary Function of Organization Unit: The Department of Business Management in the Poole College of Management houses faculty specializing in areas of marketing, finance, supply chain management, and information technology. Current faculty in the department have active research programs related to marketing and innovation in areas such as innovation strategy, consumer behavior, and quantitative marketing, among others. Faculty work closely with our centers and initiatives, including the Center for Innovation Management Studies, Technology Entrepreneurship Commercialization, and the Supply Chain Resource Cooperative.
Essential Job Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to teach marketing courses at the graduate (MBA) and undergraduate level. We offer courses both online and in person, both at our Main Campus location and at our Research Triangle Park Location. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active research agenda in marketing, commensurate with our status as a Research 1 university.
Minimum Education/Experience: Candidates must have a Ph.D. in marketing or a closely related field. Candidates who are near completion of their Ph.D. degrees will be considered for an assistant professor position, yet we welcome vitae from experienced assistant and associate professors.
Department Required Skills: Qualified candidates should possess strong records in research, teaching, and service commensurate with a tenured professor at a Research I university. Assistant Professors should have the potential to achieve same. For consideration, candidates must show evidence for strong scholarly research and ability to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: Preference will be given to candidates with experience or research interests in areas compatible with a focus on Innovation and Marketing Analytics. Expertise in quantitative methods is preferred. Candidates with prior business or consulting experience are encouraged to apply.
