Job description

Duties: Under general supervision of the Director of Information Technology, effectively manage multi-media and video production/post-production resources for the Penn Sports Network. Develop and document work-flow strategies that promote efficiency and guarantee quality multi-media production for on-demand content.

Manage staff and resources to maintain and service multi-media requests and projects. Serve as technical liaison to DRIA in the areas of video production, future multi-media development, and creation of on-demand video content.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 2-3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

The successful candidate should possess experience in intercollegiate or professional sports video services or an appropriate substitution of general video production and film industry experience. Candidates must possess good interpersonal communication skills, knowledge of video filming techniques as well as proficiency with video production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
is also required while other software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition and Adobe Premier are preferred, but not required.
Individuals must demonstrate knowledge of the video production process, camera operation, different camera and lens types, proper filming techniques, lighting design, microphones and the post-production process. Familiarity with live event production is helpful. Candidates must be highly motivated, energetic, be able to balance multiple tasks, produce high-quality work on tight deadlines and be able to manage a work schedule that includes some evening and weekend work.
