Job description

Duties: Plan/perform research and administrative tasks in an evolving, medium-sized research group that concentrates in tobacco addiction research, including imaging studies, and medication and behavioral treatment clinical trials. Specific activities include: (1) consent participants; (2) conduct eligibility screenings and reminder calls by telephone; (3) administration of cognitive; (3) conduct neuro imaging sessions; (4) collect samples and questionnaire data; (5) perform routine session prep work, data entry and quality assurance activities; (6) conduct smoking cessation counseling sessions based upon IRB approved, structured procedures.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The successful candidate will have 1-2 years' experience collecting research data, interacting with research participants and working well as part of a team. High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred. The successful candidate should also possess skills in time management, attention to detail, problem solving, clear communication and work well in a fast-paced team environment. Experience with neuroscience and/or neuroimaging preferred but not required.
