Duties: A full-time position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Murray Grossman in the Department of Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania. This lab focuses on cognitive neuroscience and clinical questions relating to language, memory, and neurodegenerative disease (e.g., primary progressive aphasia, behavioral variant frontotemporal degeneration, Alzheimer's). Applicant responsibilities will include the collection and analysis of PET scan data, and the collection and analysis of structural MRI data. This position will provide a strong foundation for individuals interested in continuing their education in graduate or medical school.

Qualifications: Requires a BS/BA degree in neuroscience, psychology, linguistics, biology, biomedical engineering or related fields. Past research experience working in a similar lab setting is highly desirable. Experience with the following is preferred: Linux/Unix, brain imaging data analysis, MATLAB, computer programming, statistical analysis, or neuropsychological assessment. The candidate must be able to work independently and have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
