ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE II
Job Summary This Administrative Associate II position is critical to the success of the leadership team in the Center for Teaching and Learning, providing professional administrative support and outstanding customer service. This position serves as the receptionist for the unit and is responsible for answering calls and emails and guiding those who visit the Center to the appropriate events and offices. This position also serves as the administrative support for the Center Director and Assistant Directors. This includes the scheduling of appointments and meetings; travel arrangements; scheduling Center for Teaching and Learning workshops and other events; managing space reservations within the Center for Teaching and Learning-North; editing and sending letters; proofreading and formatting letters, documents, and reports; and other activities. This position manages the space in the Center for Teaching and Learning-North, including the break room and lobby, and reports problems to Facilities Management. This position also supports the Center's business manager, assisting with personnel, budgeting, ordering, and other business tasks. This position reports to the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning and requires a comprehensive knowledge of the the Center for Teaching and Learning, Office of the Vice President of Instruction, and the university. The work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and three years of progressively responsible office experience OR Associate's Degree and one year of responsible office experience may be required.
