Reporting to the Director of the Student Health Center and receiving general supervision from the SHC Senior Operations Officer, the Health Services Coordinator provides unit/department administrative support and student/program educational support. This includes any needed technical or health information expertise for the SHC to support student education and success. Health information work includes maintaining the confidentiality of health records, overseeing any release of records, transcription of records, and coordination patient access, flow, scheduling, and education. The Health Services Coordinator assists the Senior Operations Officer in meeting Administration Unit (staff and student) objectives. The incumbent may be asked to support the work of any other SHC Health Education Assistant (and Administrative Support Assistants.) The incumbent works with students and campus colleagues via 1:1 and small group interactions, phoning, emailing, conducting database analysis, tabling, and presentations. Working collaboratively to support student success is the bottom line purpose of this and all SHC positions. Limited evening or weekend work may be expected
