General Summary Oversee the day-to-day operations of the STEM Title III Strengthening Institutions Program (SIP) in order to insure that the program is meeting grant requirements. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare budgets, grant applications, proposals, status reports, and financial statements for the program.

Review and oversee expenditures for materials, equipment, support staff, and travel.

Assist in the development, implementation and interpretation of policies and procedures.

Prepare and submit progress reports about site fiscal and program performance (Annual Performance Report).

Responsible for daily office oversight and providing program administration support by preparing correspondence, maintaining records, and overseeing record database management., and approving student hours.

Track and record program activities.

Assist with marketing, outreach and recruitment activities for the STEM SIP program.

Plan, coordinate, and provide support for program events and activities.

Insure that the program meets grant guidelines and requirements.

Perform related programmatic and advising, tutoring and mentoring duties, as required. Supplemental Information: Please Note: This is a part-time position.

GRADE: 08 Qualifications: Required BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) with additional hours towards a graduate degree in a STEM field preferred.

At least one year's administrative/office or project management experience including budget management is required.

Computer literacy and competency in core-business software including Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Knowledge of the internet and web-based communications, as well as basic web-support skills is required.

Prior experience with grant-writing and managing grant budgets is strongly preferred.
