General Summary
The Coordinator of Case Management is responsible for providing non-clinical intervention and support resources for students. The Coordinator will also perform support functions for this role, including service on the Redbird Care Team (RCT), coordination of the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) and coordination of outreach functions on and off-campus related to student behavioral concerns. The Coordinator will be responsible for the drafting and implementation of protocols associated with the position, as well as maintaining accurate electronic case management records.

Required Qualifications
1. Master's degree
2. Valid U.S. Drivers' License
3. At least three years full-time experience working with adolescents or adults in case management, crisis intervention, advising or advocacy situations
4. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.

Desired Qualifications
1. Master's degree with emphasis in College Student Personnel or Development, Counseling, Leadership, Social Work, Education or related area preferred
2. At least five years full-time experience coordinating and evaluating case management, counseling, social work, advocacy, or other related student services
3. At least five years administrative experience (planning, data collection, report writing, utilization of assessment results)
4. Advanced interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with a broad range of diverse student populations within a complex and multi-layered organization, including effective listening, discernment, empathy, and sensitivity skills; ability to interact with senior campus leaders, including faculty and administrators
5. Behavioral Intervention Team certification through NaBITA
6. Experience in higher education crisis response related to student behavior
7. Knowledge of national principles and procedures involved in risk assessment and evaluation
8. Knowledge and understanding of student development theory and practice
9. Experience formalizing protocols and standardizing procedures
10. Experience which demonstrates knowledge of the legal issues that inform case management in higher education
11. Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds; commitment to personal cultural competency
12. Excellent writing, communication, presentation and public speaking skills
13. Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
