POSITION SUMMARY:

Indiana Wesleyan University and the DeVoe Division of Business is seeking applications from qualified individuals to apply for the position of full-time Finance faculty. Successful candidates will show evidence of personal faith in Jesus Christ, comfort with the Wesleyan perspective, and a commitment to liberal learning as well as a fully integrated life of faith and work, embracing God’s purpose individually and collaboratively. Applicants who bring diverse ethnic, racial, and gender perspectives to their scholarship and teaching are especially encouraged to apply. Start date will be fall 2018, pending funding. 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Individuals in possession of or pursing a doctorate in Finance by August 2018

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engage in teaching, advising, and mentoring undergraduate majors on the residential Marion, Indiana campus. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.

Experience:

  • Candidates with practical experience in the finance profession and teaching experience in Finance, especially upper-level courses, are preferred. 

Required Skills:

  • Applicants should demonstrate the ability to combine engaged teaching with scholarly endeavors.
