The George Washington University (GW) School of Nursing invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor/Clinical Associate Professor to teach in the undergraduate program. Position will begin as early as January 2018.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaches med-surg courses in the undergraduate program; mentors and advises students; develop curricula and clinical experiences; works collaboratively with nursing colleagues and practice partners; maintains active involvement in professional organizations; and actively seeks opportunities for and participates in GW School of Nursing and faculty governance.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have: (1) a doctorate in nursing, education, public health or related field (2) one year of teaching experience in a college or university setting; (3) 5 years or more of clinical experience in med-surg nursing (4) eligibility for unencumbered nursing licenses in DC and VA.
