The position is involved in multiple aspects of small animal care, including feeding, watering, and regulating the environment of experimental research animals in accord with NIH guidelines. The position is responsible for keeping animal rooms, cages, and related equipment clean, well-maintained, and available for use by researchers and lab helpers to insure overall quality in animal care. This position requires frequent bending, twisting, and reaching, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
English Proficiency Required - This position requires one or more of the following abilities: ability to speak, read, write, and/or understand verbal instructions in English
6:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday with occasional work required on weekends and holidays.
