Assistant Civil Engineer - Transportation
Ideal candidates will have a California E.I.T. registration with experience in assisting with the preparation of roadway PS&E packages for Caltrans and local agencies. In addition to roadway design, ideal candidates will have experience with drainage and hydraulic design/analysis associated with roadway and bridge projects. Ideal candidates should possess a working knowledge of roadway design standards and software including Autocad, Microstation, Civil3D, In Roads, or Geopak, as well as hydraulic design software such as HEC-RAS, StormCAD, PondPack, CulvertMaster, WSPG, or other similar programs. Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, technical report writing skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are key attributes.
