Senior Full-Stack Engineer
Confirm's core objective is to be a developer-centric product offering empowering mobile applications to perform ID authentication for their own purposes. As such, the majority of our work in forensic document authentication exists as a RESTful API that can be reached directly by developers, or via our iOS/Android SDKs. As a member of Confirm's engineering team, full-stack developers can expect to use their skills to help accelerate the continued development of this API to help bring our service to the world. Our lean engineering team is filled with extraordinarily talented researchers and developers who work collaboratively to expand the breadth of our document authentication technology. As a member of this team, engineers are given the opportunity to work in exceedingly innovative and creative areas, such as machine learning and computer vision, to broaden this technology and ensure that it can learn to adapt to any and all malicious attempts to impersonate our peers.
Being a member of an engineering focused company at the early stages is an extremely rewarding and exhilarating experience, and engineers on the team are given ample opportunity to take ownership of their projects. Together, we lead the charge to bring modern technology to identity authentication.

Confirm was founded in July 2015 as an identity authentication company committed to disrupting the rampant fraud occurring within digital and mobile enrollment. Confirm works by leveraging the consumer's mobile camera to administer advanced forensic tests on government-issued IDs. By authenticating the document, trust can be established in its presented data. If the ID is counterfeit or stolen our software will detect it and prevent further action. If the document is legitimate, its data can be applied confidently to dynamic risk-mitigation processes (such as credit checks, background screening, etc..). Confirm believes that document authentication is the most secure way to begin an identity authentication process, and our powerful, easy to use APIs and SDKs allow businesses to confirm customer identity while offering appropriate safety measures to protect their customers.
Since our inception, Confirm has built an amazing suite of APIs and SDKs for some of the largest mobile companies in the world. Through our focus on the mobile-specific authentication, Confirm's offerings are able to seamlessly inject themselves into the enrollment and fraud prevention processes of any modern business, thus ensuring a level of consumer trust previously unseen in the sharing economy, mobile payments, and a variety of other industries and sectors.
Located a few steps from Boston's TD Garden, our company aspires to the legacies of champions before us. Like a Havlicek or Orr in their prime, we are determined innovators dedicated to transforming the game that we play. When we're not building the next generation of consumer mobile apps, our team can be found at the local pubs or giving back to the community via organizations like TUGG.
