Established in 1993, M&G Jewelers is the largest jewelry manufacturing and watch repair company in the United States. We strive to satisfy our clients by providing exquisite quality, speed and value. As our company continues to face significant growth we are on a search to find a Human Resources Manager to help us continue to staff and manage our personnel.

Job Summary:

Although recruiting is only one aspect of this HR position, it is a key component that requires a talented individual that can create local networks, campaigns and identify sources of applicants. In addition, this individual will provide direction and support to management, identify and resolve issues with staff, maintain positive employee relations, implement HR policies, benefits, training and documentation and utilize and maintain our Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Also, this employee will be responsible for all administrative duties like the timekeeping system, payroll system, disciplinary actions, incident reports, attendance policy tracking, unemployment claims, etc. Lastly, they must adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as it relates to Human Resources.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Generate candidate flow for all open positions, utilizing effective and cost efficient methods available consisting of direct advertising for open positions
  • Conduct in depth interviews to qualify applicants and gain insight on work experience, skill match and salary requirements
  • Schedule follow-up interviews with company supervisors
  • Decrease turnover and maintain company turnover goals
  • Process pre-employment background checks prior to start date
  • Establish a strong working relationship with applicants, candidates and existing employees to build a strong local network
  • Conduct new hire orientation and ensure successful seamless on-boarding of new hires
  • Provide training, guidance and counsel to management and teams
  • Ensure all employees are updated on company policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively and professionally at all levels within the company organization
  • Maintain confidentiality and a high level of business ethics
  • Adapts quickly to changing priorities

The chosen candidate will have 5 + years of previous human resources management experience

The chosen candidate must be bi-lingual (English and Spainsh)

Compensation & Benefits:

$50,000 - $55,000 per year
