The Department of Sociology and Social Work at Saint Anselm College, a Roman Catholic undergraduate liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition in Manchester, NH invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position to begin August 2018.  The successful candidate will be able to teach various courses in the social work major and support the College mission of civic engagement.  Submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching ability and research potential (samples of scholarship, articles or conference papers) and academic transcripts to the attention of Dr. Tauna Sisco, Department Chair, Sociology and Social Work via the college website at www.anselm.edu/hr.  Three letters of recommendation are required and should be submitted in PDF format via email to the department faculty assistant, Barbara Bartlett at BBartlet@anselm.edu. Review of applications will begin on November 1, 2017 and will continue until the position is filled.

An M.S.W. and Ph.D. in Social Work, Sociology, or a related field is required.  Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level as well as scholarly research. Candidates with experience in or a desire to teach and mentor students from diverse backgrounds are especially welcome.  Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.
