Business Operations Prof II
Provides professional level coordination of the business affairs of a mid-sized to large department, college or unit. Responsible for coordinating, reviewing and assuring that all business transactions follow established fiscal procedures of the University; monitor purchasing card activity; serve as liaison to Business Services and other administrative units; prepares department budget/budget amendment requests; review and approve travel reports; assists with the development of new business policies and procedures. May supervise office clerical and support staff.
This employee will serve as the Associate College of the Arts (COTA) Business Affairs Manager, assisting the COTA Business Manager (Business Operations Professional IV) with managing the college's daily budgeting and other accounts payable tasks. This employee will
oversee the college's travel reimbursement process for employees and guest contractors, reconcile employee P-Card statements and approve purchase transactions, co-manage monthly budget corrections and expense auditing needs, oversee expense reporting tasks, and will serve as the College of the Arts accounting liaison to the KSU Foundation.

Bachelor's degree in business accounting, or related field and 4 years related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor degree in an accounting related discipline, at least two years of accounting experience in an arts educational organization.
