Basic Functions: Lead, create and coach students about entrepreneurship initiatives on campus and in the community, and arrange and/or develop workshops on subjects of interest to emerging entrepreneurs.

Essential Job Functions: The Entrepreneurship Coach will have responsibility for leading entrepreneurship initiatives on campus. * Work closely with our Design Thinking Coordinator. * Provide support for entrepreneurship events (e.g. entrepreneurship summit). * Provide support to Denison student organizations with a focus on entrepreneurship. * Arrange or develop workshops on subjects of interest to emerging entrepreneurs and opportunities to build the mindset, skillsets and knowledge of entrepreneurship (note: this may involve some evening and weekend events). * Coach students individually and in groups, around an entrepreneurial project or an idea. * Connect students to networks of other entrepreneurs associated with Denison, within the central Ohio (Columbus and Licking County) community, or with other professional contacts. This includes providing support to Denison's entrepreneurs-in-residence (EIR) and connecting students to EIRs. * Direct mentorship and referrals to other potential mentors, either in the local community or among Denison alumni. * Cultivate an entrepreneurial community among Denison students and alumni. * Identify and make connections for students regarding entrepreneurial-focused internships (in partnership with the Knowlton Center for Career Exploration). * Provide leadership in raising the visibility of entrepreneurship on campus and continue to build a culture of design thinking (creative problem solving) on campus. * Cultivate relationships with campus partners: Knowlton Center, academic departments, Alumni & Family Engagement * Performs other related duties as assigned. In addition to resources available on campus and through the D Lab, Denison has reserved Denison Art Space on the Square in Newark, Ohio to facilitate our students' engagement with local organizations and leaders. This coach will work from that space periodically to build local connections.

Minimum Qualifications: * An earned Bachelor's Degree; strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral. Experience as an entrepreneur. Ability to build collaborative relationships with students, alumni, local entrepreneurs, faculty and staff. Ability to build networks of entrepreneurs. * Commitment to inclusion and desire to work with diverse groups of people. * Charismatic and creative, a person who works equally comfortable with college students and established business, government and social services leaders of the local community. * Demonstrated competencies include knowledge of entrepreneurship, personal engagement with the central Ohio community. * A propensity for innovation and creative problem-solving; accelerators, and funders. * Must have a current, valid driver's license and must be insurable under Denison's liability insurance policy. of innovators, incubators.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with design thinking preferred.
