Lab Research Analyst I (Bradley lab)

• Perform library preparation and next-generation sequencing for antibody repertoire sequencing from tissues from vaccinated animals and humans.
• Perform library preparation and next-generation sequencing reactions for transcriptome and genome sequencing from model organisms or human samples.
• Maintain supplies and provide regular upkeep of sequencing and liquid handling instruments.
• Develop and update all facility SOPs/reports and organize facility documents and records utilizing a shared mechanism and Core research accessible by all team members.
• Collaborate with other lab members and external collaborators to develop and implement novel sequencing protocols and pipelines.
• Read literature to increase knowledge of sequencing technology / advancements in the field and continuously update the core facility with the most advanced technologies and methodologies.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Principal Investigator or senior lab staff.

Education, Skills, & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in biological science or related field and two years of related research experience.
  • Basic skills in laboratory techniques
  • Must be able to manage multiple and rapidly changing priorities and have ability to learn new skills
  • Must be detail-oriented, well organized with strong communication skills and ability to work in an interactive team environment.

Education
