Job Description


As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the following:

• Implementing a pre-bid project schedule that reflects project strategy

• Developing a purchasing/delivery schedule to anticipate, and resolve purchasing challenges during the early stages of pre-construction

• Execute each project phase including pre-construction, construction, close out and post-construction services

• Work with Estimating in set up of projects to ensure profitability, hiring the best subcontractor for the job and exceeding client expectations

• Partnering with the Project Superintendent to maintain an updated and accurate schedule

• Detailed documentation of all financial data, identifying potential/existing issues that may lead to subpar financial performance

• Establishing annual performance goals for assigned staff and performance evaluations

• Develop and maintain relationships to reinforce a commitment of excellence and exceptional customer service across the board

• Promote positive subcontractor relations, instituting fair and professional dealings with all subcontractor and vendors and continually instilling this philosophy in the project team

• Effectively communicating with field and office team members


• 5-10 years of experience in construction management with a commercial general contracting company

• Ability to manage a variety of projects in a rapidly growing organization is imperative

• Experience managing Luxury and Specialty Retail projects

• Extensive knowledge of maintaining project budgets and schedules

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Flexibility to travel is required

• Must be able to work in the United States and Canada
