Our production supervisor plays a "mission critical" role for Gordon Water Systems. You would be a working manager who performs alongside the production team, as well as overseeing inventory, water machine maintenance and equipment rebuilds.
A day as a production supervisor would include physical labor to produce the bottled water; some field work repairing water coolers and coffee makers in offices. You would be working with 35 employees at our Kalamazoo store. You would be responsible to produce enough water to supply 6 bottled water drivers, and fully stock three retail locations.
Water production (approx. 70% of the time)
perform various takes related to bottled water production
forklift driving to load trucks
staking skids for inventory
maintaining bottled water machine
Cleaning and repairing equipment (approx 20% of the time)Loading customers, performing service calls (approx 10% of the time)
Necessary skills & abilities
High school graduate or equivalent certificate
Ability to lift 60 lbs
ability to motivate and lead others

Critical to doing this work is how you go about it. We need a production supervisor with strong communication skills , and a service above self attitude, along with the ability to work alongside the people you lead.
