Archarithms Inc. is seeking a mid-level software developer to support multiple programs, IR&D projects and business development activities. The candidate will contribute to modeling and simulation efforts, develop front end client applications, design and create back end modules/services, and rapidly prototype software in support of Command and Control, Battle Management, Sensors, Weapons and Human Machine Interface efforts. The successful candidate will work technical efforts, including innovating new technical concepts; work development efforts on programs for multiple defense services; and work business development and capture efforts. The successful candidate will interface with internal and external customers, work in a team environment, and work multiple simultaneous projects.
Exceptional Organizational and Interpersonal Skills; Ability to multi-task; Dedicated to meeting the highest quality on time; Ability to work in a team environment; Experience working in an agile software development environment; SCRUM master experience is a plus. Must be able to: develop applications with React and Redux, create NodeJS applications, work with NoSQL data structures, develop RESTful APIs, and UI Styling with SASS/CSS. Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The software developer will spend on average 40% of the time developing and writing software modules; 30% of the time designing software modules; 30% of the time checking in software to version control, monitoring and tracking tasks in an agile planning tool, monitoring and tracking any software issues in version control client, and participating in sprint status and planning sessions.
