The Department of Radiology at Augusta University, AU, Georgia’s premier Health Sciences University, is recruiting for a full-time Chest/Thoracic Imaging Radiologist. Responsibilities will include a combination of patient care and teaching of medical students and residents.  Position offers a strong salary line and excellent fringe benefits package.  Academic rank is commensurate with training and experience.  The department is equipped with three CT Scanners (256 and 128), three MRI scanners (Two 3 Tesla and one 1.5 Tesla), Ultrasound, Routine, Nuc Med and R&F equipment. 

AU ranks in the top ten public medical schools in basic science grant revenue per faculty member and is located in historic Augusta, Georgia, a mid-sized city with diverse recreational and lifestyle opportunities.  A newly established cancer center has plans for growth in basic, translational, and clinical cancer research.  The campus offers excellent core facilities including cell and small animal imaging.

Minimum Requirements  

The candidate should be board certified in Radiology and prefer the individual to be fellowship trained in Chest/Thoracic Imaging.
