Assistant or Associate Professor of Economics

Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
Teach courses in Economics at the undergraduate and MBA level. Teaching load is 9 hours per semester. Candidates must have a commitment to research which leads to refereed publications. Service to the University and the profession is also expected.
Educational Requirements for the Position
Ph.D. in Economics or related field.
Experience Required for the Position
Candidates should have potential for excellent teaching and research. Appropriate business and/or teaching experience is preferred. Special
consideration will be given to those with at least one of the following fields, General economics, Health, Development, and Applied microeconometrics, although outstanding candidates in any area of economics will be considered.
Other Requirements for the Position
Evidence of scholarly research.
