Nature of Work
This position provides leadership, vision, and direction for the Application Support team within the Department of Information Solutions. This team is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining all University enterprise level applications.
This position supervises assigned technical and support staff as they define, implement and maintain technology enhancements and information solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum 7 years of experience with providing application support or application development. Minimum 3 years of experience providing direct management and supervision of multiple IT staff members implementing and supporting enterprise-level application at the server and desktop levels in a networked environment.
Master’s degree and Higher Education experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
This position must be able to lift 40 pounds and work under somewhat adverse conditions at times. Office environment. In addition, this position must be available outside of normal working hours, including nights and weekends, to complete routine system maintenance, respond to emergency system outages, or serve in the department 7×24 on call rotation.
