The Department of Housing and Residence Life at the University of North Texas is a growing organization which serves nearly 6,300 students in 15 residence halls. Job Description
The Housing Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Administrative Coordinator III to join our team.

The Administrative Coordinator III performs a wide variety of administrative assignments and tasks for the Executive Director of Housing and some support for senior management team. Responsibilities may include screening calls; managing calendars; making travel arrangements, meeting and event arrangements; preparing reports and financial data; training and supervising other support staff; and customer relations.Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Manage and support the daily processes for the Executive Director of Housing and some support for senior leadership team.
* Uphold a strict level of confidentiality.
* Learn and keep abreast of legislative, and UNT Policies affecting business practices and operations within housing.
* Collects, reviews, and analyzes data in order to prepare internal and/or external documents, spreadsheets, and reports for senior team members or external partners.
* Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails and interfacing with other departmental contacts and external contacts.
* May arrange larger department events to take place outside of the work place, such as training, banquets and staff appreciation events.
* Create and maintain an organized electronic filing system for documents.
* Coordinates travel plans, travel vouchers.
* Creates spreadsheets for tracking and monitoring of various administrative information as instructed by director(s).
* Schedule outlook calendar meetings, appointments, and events for department involving multiple departments or people.
* Tracking, monitoring, and reconciliation of Pcard related expenditures.
* Conduct research and/or surveys and document findings on spreadsheets or other forms, as directed by senior leadership team.
* Provide some oversight to staff in areas of housing in absence of directors.
* Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and industry partners.
* Perform prioritization with a multitude of assignments.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and five years of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Advanced written communication skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
* Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures.
* Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others.
* Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats.
* Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively.
* Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
* Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.
* Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.
* Supervisory skills.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* 5+ years of administrative or business experience.
* Property management or facilities related background helpful.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software.
* Proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties.
* Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills.
