Asst Professor

Clinical physics support, clinical research and development, and teaching. Machine Quality Assurance; Machine Calibration; Commissioning of new equipment; treatment planning for special procedures (LDR, HDR, SRS); patient chart checks; research and development in the areas of IMRT, IGRT, functional imaging, and outcome modeling; teaching of physics to radiation oncology residents.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in medical physics, physics, engineering, or related fields with 2 years experience in Radiation Oncology Physics.

Preferred Qualifications:

Clinical radiotherapy physics experience including external beam RT, brachytherapy, and SRS/SRT. Experience in the areas of IMRT, IGRT, biological modeling, and functional imaging is essential. Good mathematical and programming skills are highly desirable.
