Advertised Job Summary
This position is an advanced Research Associate level position assisting the Director in conducting complex research and analysis projects, especially in the development of the National Youth in Transition Survey.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Master's degree in social work, mathematics, statistics, or quantitative research methodology or related field.
Ph.D. preferred.Preferred Qualifications
Experience conducting applied research studies or program evaluations.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
The successful candidate should have good oral and written communications skills, strong analytical and organizational skills. The ability to work independently and effectively following through on multiple priorities and under deadline pressure. Ability to demonstrate proficiency using various statistical software programs. Highly motivated and possesses the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other project partners. Must have keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Provides expertise on research and evaluation projects as assigned to include data analysis and program enhancement. Experience with quantitative analysis and a working knowledge of relational databases.
