Advertised Job Summary
The HRSC Specialist is responsible for coordination of FTE staff, and RGP, TL and Temporary faculty and staff employment for assigned business units. The position is primarily responsible for review, coding, processing and tracking all transactions in accordance with University policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws and regulations.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Bachelor's degree.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in human resources environment, preferably in Classification, Compensation, Employment or HR Operations; prefer knowledge of principles and practices of human resources management.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Requires ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion; to communicate with all levels of management within the organization, both verbally and in writing; ability to maintain effective working relationships within the HR Division and with external customers. Knowledge of human resources management principles and practices and knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations.
