Dental Quality Assurance Manager
The Quality and Safety Manager (QSM) will manage quality improvement processes, safety processes, and patient satisfaction & complaints. The QSM will support College risk assessment efforts and provide College representation at various local, regional, and national meetings involving quality, safety, patient satisfaction, and risk management.
The successful candidate will promote a safety supportive culture , investigate qualify initiatives, and analyze and identify trends. The person in this position will design custom reports for the analysis of clinical care, clinical performance, and outcomes to create opportunities to improve student education , improve processes, and establish benchmarks. The successful candidate will identify performance improvement opportunities, develop and implement improvement plans, and analyze the effectiveness of those plans.
Attaining Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Certification will be required after hire.

The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50lbs; occasionally transporting objects up to 10lbs; regularly utilizing a computer workstation for extended periods of time with regular repetitive motions (such as typing); occasionally dealing with combative/violent people; and occasional job-related travel (< 10% of the time).
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Continuous quality improvement, report writing present findings, teaching/coaching, analyze data, interpret policy. Active listening skills, excellent verbal skills.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
Experience in quality and safety management in a medical and/or dental clinic highly preferred. Attaining Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Certification will be required after hire.
