Description
The School of Social Work, The University of Texas at Austin, occasionally hires non-tenure track faculty to fill curricular needs on a part time basis. Although no new positions currently are available, the School of Social Work seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary part-time positions. Persons selected will teach lower and/or upper division undergraduate classes, as well as master-level graduate courses in the day and/or evening that cannot be staffed by regular faculty. The positions are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Appointments are usually made on a semester-by-semester basis, though occasionally a year-long appointment is made. Positions are annually renewable, contingent on funding and performance.


Qualifications
Qualifications include a master's degree in social work or related field, plus at least two years post-graduate experience is preferred.
