Description
The qualified applicant will:

Assume a collaborative role in the Division of Textiles and Apparel in the School of Human Ecology, which values experiential learning, student centered educational strategies and strong teaching skills.

Teach a variety of textiles and apparel undergraduate courses related to Merchandising, including courses in one or more of the following areas: Retailing: physical and virtual environments; Digital technology related to the retail industry; Merchandise buying, math, and management; Global issues in the textile and apparel industries; and, Supply chain management.

Participate as a team member in curriculum development and updating.

Participate in program, division, school, college, and university service activities.


Qualifications
Applicants must have at least one relevant graduate degree (e.g. MS, MBA, Ph.D.). Demonstrated industry and/or teaching experience preferred. Willingness and demonstrated ability to mentor and supervise students in practicums, field trips or internships. Appreciation for and the ability to work collaboratively.
