The Biology Program within the Division of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) at Southern Oregon University invites applications for a tenure-track, 9 month, faculty position in Cell Biology at the Assistant Professor rank. We seek an individual committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching and research to teach upper-division courses in Cell Biology (a core requirement of our major) and Microbiology. Additional teaching will include upper-division elective courses such as Immunology and lower-division Elementary Microbiology and may include participation in the introductory biology sequence for science majors. The successful candidate will teach, advise, and pursue research with undergraduates of diverse learning styles and backgrounds. Service to the university and community is expected.
