1st Shift/2nd Shift CNC Programmer

Micro Mech is seeking a 2nd Shift CNC Programmer. (3:30-1200) 2 years of experience in programming preferred. 3 years of CNC operation preferred. Compensation based on experience. (1st Shift also considered)

Preferred candidate will possess the ability to:

3D CNC MasterCam programming experience/ proficient in G-Code

Ability to process/program primarily milling and some turning from blueprints, 3D models, specifications, etc.

Determine sequence of operations in CNC program

Choose appropriate cutting tools and tool-holder configurations

Use Mastercam to create CNC programs and/or modify existing CNC programs for increased efficiency

Analyze and select cutting speeds and cutting techniques with CNC programs

Create setup and production work instructions for CNC machinists to execute

Make improvements/adjustments to set up and production procedures

Monitor CNC program execution to ensure product meets blueprint requirements and the CNC program safely and successfully completes the production task

Strong initiative and discipline; ability to analyze and troubleshoot

Knowledge of MasterCam programming experience a plus
