CQM Business Director
Director, Administrative ServicesJob Description:
Financial Management: Provides cost analysis, financial strategy and contract review for the center’s annual budget of $3.2M. Prepares and administers budgets, reconciliations and reports. Coordinates and/or prepare operating budgets and review expenditures for budgetary control. Makes presentations regarding the financial status of the Call Center. Provides management and oversight over fiscal related tasks. This includes reviewing and approving all voucher and journal entries for accuracy, analysis, reconciliation, and approving purchasing charges, travel authorizations, and expense reports. Works with auditors each year and has all records in place with accountability of the operating budget, invoicing, payments and the aging reporting.
Strategy: Works with the Director of the CQM and other CQM leadership in the direction and oversight of the Center as a whole with the agreement of the Associate Dean for Clinical and Administrative Affairs. Works with the CQM Director and Director of IT and Business Development to translate strategic and tactical business plans into operational plans, establish direction and goals, implement strategy and utilize best practices in operations, files and record keeping.
Administration: Works with the CQM Leadership team to make sure they are meeting the goals of each client and the correct staff is in place. Responsible for coordinating and directing CQM business related affairs and managing client relations. In conjunction with the CQM Director, is focused and aware of external competition and stays abreast of new and innovative ways of marketing, handling services, costs, and others lines of service. With CQM leadership, establishes the direction and goals of the Center, including creating measures to make sure goals are met.
The position must be familiar with all University of Florida, state, and federal regulations. Understands the different policies, funding sources and processes. With CQM leadership, the Director is responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships throughout the University and outside of the University. With CQM leadership, the Director is responsible for maintaining an inclusive working environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. Performs other duties as assigned by the Associate Dean for Clinical and Administrative Affairs.
This position will require occasional travel.Advertised Salary:

Master's degree in an appropriate area and six years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and eight years of relevant experience.Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration
- Extensive experience in managing large, complex, cross-functional projects and teams
- Experience developing policy, procedures, and standards
- Experience with budget management
- Experience with UF financial reporting systems would be a plus but not required
- Knowledge of data processing, financial management systems, facilities, personnel management, and GAAP
