Job Summary
  • Plans, directs, or coordinates human resources activities and staff of an organization.


General Accountabilities
  • Oversee all aspects of the HR function including payroll, employee relations, investigations, benefits. LOA, and employment legal compliance
  • Coach managers / supervisors in their communication, feedback, recognition and interactive responsibilities with subordinates
  • Analyzes and modifies compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Advises managers / supervisors on organizational policy matters and recommends needed changes
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Identifies staff vacancies and recruits, interviews and selects applicants
  • Conduct all new hire documentation, onboarding and orientation
  • Process lawful terminations
  • Administers compensation, benefits and performance management systems
  • Provides current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and other work-related information
  • Update company job descriptions to reflect changing roles
  • Update handbook according to legal and benefit changes
  • Analyzes statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems
  • Develops recommendations for improvement of organization's personnel policies and practices
  • Maintains records and compiles statistical reports concerning personnel-related data
  • Conducts exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination

Job Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience: 1-3 years of related experience
