Club Manager - Truckee

Whether they are there to travel for work or play, as Club Manager, you will show your team what it's like to create highly personalized experiences for our members and attend to their every need. Based in the airport terminals, you will make sure our member's travel adventure is relaxed, stress free, convenient and easy and you will make our Clubs the ideal place for them to mix, meet and mingle pre- or post-flight.
Keep your team and yourself focused on providing outstanding service to each and every member. Ensure your team has fun and pride in what they do.
Coordinate all activities, operations and day to day running of the Club Host Team's responsibilities - whilst being there with them, leading from the front.
Conduct all employment planning related tasks such as scheduling and holiday planning.
Implement companywide brand standards and ensure they are closely followed at all times.
Provide leadership for quality assurance and process improvement initiatives aligned with business goals
Induct, train and develop new team members ensuring a high level of personalized service and member recognition.
Ensure that all front of house public areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and repair.
Ensure effective channels of communication are in place maximising the opportunities of distributing the information available - and encouraging ideas and participation from all team members, through monthly team briefings, daily morning meetings and daily operations meetings.
Welcome members to the private terminal building, answer questions and resolve problems.
Ensure that you and your team know the names and requirements of each and every arriving/departing member leave lasting impressions.
Mix, meet and mingle with our members. Make them feel right at home and ensure they have all they need to be successful.
Communicate, record and resolve complaints.
Record and administer arrivals and departures.
Ensure safety at all times; in all duties and operations.
Carry out appraisals, encouraging 2-way feedback - and to utilise the opportunity to set goals and objectives ensuring all Club Hosts are working to the same goals and objectives.
Evaluating guest feedback information, provide appropriate follow up and putting improvement actions in place.
Welcome feedback provided through annual staff satisfaction survey and put improvement actions in place.
Obtain and action feedback by meeting members regularly, and check the Club Lounge and Planes to ensure the required product and service standards are maintained.
Develop and identify new business opportunities - feeding new leads to the sales team.
Ensure that Surf Air maintains a competitive edge by identifying new product and service enhancements.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
You will meet so many interesting members and colleagues from different nationalities, countries and backgrounds. To thrive in such an international environment, we do require you to speak, read, write and understand English. Furthermore, we are looking for outgoing personalities that are strong communicators, both verbally and in writing.
Higher National Diploma e.g. Bachelor or Diploma in Hospitality or Business.
4 years of senior department head level management experience in a service or hospitality related environment.
We want you to show your personality and take pride in your appearance by coming to work neat, clean and well-groomed, wearing your Surf Air uniform with pride.
