NYU's Stern School has a challenging opportunity for an Assistant Director, Financial Aid. The selected candidate will administer processing for MBA, PhD and Executive Education students at Stern. S/he will assist with the development of award parameters and ensure funds are distributed accordingly, administer customer service operations for students, conduct presentations and disseminate information to prospective students, and develop publication materials.

The selected candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, and at least 3 years' relevant financial aid administration experience or equivalent combination that includes experience evaluating financial aid applications, counseling regarding financial aid, and supervising customer service staff. S/he must also possess the knowledge and ability to conduct needs' analyses, and a knowledge of federal/state financial aid programs and regulations. Excellent organization, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills are also required. Familiarity with database, word processing, and spreadsheet applications and presentation software is preferred.
