We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team! You will be responsible for the design and development of intelligent systems and industrial systems control.
A. Responsible for new and existing product engineering tasks. Other duties may be assigned.
II. Essential Duties:
A. Participate with other team members to launch new products. This includes feasibility studies, capacity analysis and routing determination.
B. Meet assigned performance and financial objectives. Ensure the quality of all products meet customer specifications.
C. Manage the APQP process, including PPAP, for assigned projects or programs to completion that meet customer deadlines.
D. Lead the design, development and improvement of manufacturing processes.
E. Train appropriate process stakeholders in new or improved process requirements. Ensure trainee capability.
F. Complete all assigned engineering tasks accurately and timely, including but not limited to: specify, develop, validate and install new equipment and tools; FMEA, PFMEA, Process Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams; part or fixture design and layout, CAD/CAM drawings, CMM operations and machine tool programming; proper specification of materials and outside processes.
G. Assist Sales with engineering support, including preparing estimates, quotes and schedules.
H. Ensure CAR are completed in a timely manner.
I. Perform the essential duties of team members as needed.
J. Travel to customer or vendor locations.
K. Comply with all EPC policy, procedure and practice.
II. Work Environment:
A. Successful completion of EPC drug screen.
B. Office environment. Includes some lifting, stooping, bending, reaching or grasping.
C. Lift at least 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds on occasion.
V. Suggested Qualifications:
A. 4-year degree in Engineering or Technical related courses of study.
B. 1-10 years of prior experience in the essential duties listed above.
C. Ability to analyze complex issues and develop logical approaches.
D. Working knowledge of machining, tooling, design, pneumatics, hydraulics and controls.
E. Specific knowledge of common engineering theory, operations and methods. Working knowledge of standard quality system and statistical techniques.
F. Verbal and written communication skills to customer presentation standards.
G. Excellent software skills, including MS Office products, ERP systems and CAD/CAM systems.
H. Valid driver's license.
