Assistant Professor of Economics

Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job:
Teach courses in Economics at the undergraduate and MBA level. Teaching load is 9 hours per semester. Candidates must have a commitment to research which leads to refereed publications for this tenure-track position. Service to the University and the profession is also expected.
Educational Requirements for the Position:
Ph.D. in Economics or related field.
Experience Required for the Position:
Candidates should have potential for excellent teaching and research. Appropriate business and/or teaching experience is preferred. Special consideration will be given to those with at least one of the following fields: Macroeconomics, International Trade, Econometrics, and Regional Economics.
Other Requirements for the Position:
Evidence of scholarly research and teaching experience.
