Adjunct Faculty-SolidWorks Instructor
The Department of Engineering and Computer Science is seeking a qualified adjunct to teach its Introduction to Mechanical Engineering course (ME100) in the Spring 2018 semester. This course develops the basic design and fabrication skills necessary for mechanical engineers. Coverage includes computer-aided design (SolidWorks), geometric projection, dimensional tolerancing, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, computer-aided manufacturing, and computer-numerically-controlled machining.
A successful candidate will have a Master of Science degree or higher in an engineering or related field as well as either teaching experience, industrial experience, or both. Familiarity with CAD software SolidWorks is a requirement.
