Adjunct Faculty-Engineering Physics
The Department of Engineering and Computer Science is seeking a qualified adjunct to teach its Engineering Physics - Mechanics course in the Spring 2018 semester. This is a calculus –based Physics course. Topics include vectors, linear and rotational motion, Newton’s Laws, friction, work and energy, conservation of linear and angular momentum, collisions, moment of inertia, simple harmonic motion, and gravitation.
The candidate should have a Master of Science degree or higher in Physics or in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a strong commitment to working as part of a collaborative team.
