2017-2018 Fall/Spring Student FWS/Non-FWS: Military Affairs & Services Office Assistant
We are looking for professional,energetic and courteous individuals who enjoy interacting with students and staff. General office and administrative duties, data entry, answer incoming calls. Checking and maintaining email and social accounts. Greeting students and checking them in for assistance. Prepping and preparing materials for events. Making and maintaining distribution lists. Military/ROTC/Guard and Reserve background is preferred for this position.
Office Hours are Monday- Friday 8am to 5pm, however there may be occasional evening and/or weekend hours needed. Work hours will not exceed 20 hours per work week.
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and students and answers general questions related to military affairs and services. Keeps office and reception area clean and organized.
Clerical/General Office :
- Light data entry entry required. Prepare flyer's for events. Update distributioin lists as needed.
Approval for Federal Work Study required (unless hired as a non-federal work study)
Must be dependable and have a positive professional demeanor.
Represent the University by displaying Saint Leo Core Values.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as: MS Wrod, Excel, and PowerPoint
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Willingness to learn and eager to help others.
Must maintain strict Confidentiality.
