We invite candidates to apply for our Director of Facilities position. Under the direction of the Vice-President of Administrative & Financial Services, the Director Facilities supervises and manages the operations of the Facilities Department and all related physical plant needs for all campuses; is responsible for departmental and construction budgets as well as planning and forecasting needs and schedules. In addition, the Director prepares the annual Capital Improvement Plan and oversees the development and assessment of the College’s Educational Plant Survey and all other state and federal reporting requirements related to facilities management. The Director also serves as a member of the Emergency Management Team.
Responsible for demonstrating LSSC’s core value of Service Excellence; respect, competence, responsiveness, and collaboration, in all interactions.

Required: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution required in a related discipline.
Trade school certifications a plus.
Experience: Six (6) years’ progressively responsible experience and demonstrated competence in building
maintenance or facilities management including supervisory experience required. Valid Florida State Driver’s
License required. Must be available evenings, weekends, and during emergencies.
