Adjunct Faculty in Electrical Engineering
The Electrical and Computer Engineering program within the Department of Engineering and Computer Science at York College of Pennsylvania is seeking multiple adjuncts to teach one or more of the needed courses in the spring 2018 academic semester:
· Applied Control (EGR442) with laboratory exercises. This is a senior-level control system course that covers applications of control theory including state-space methods and multi-input, multi-output systems.
· Mathematical Methods in Engineering (EGR240). This is a sophomore-level mathematics course for engineers that covers complex numbers, linear algebra, multi-dimensional integration, and vector calculus.
· Mechatronics (ME270). This is a sophomore-level course that covers basic circuits, electronic devices, sensors, actuators, and computing.
Successful applicants will be committed to teaching at the undergraduate level. Applicants should hold a Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Mathematics or other related field. Previous teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
