Position: The University of Illinois Department of Speech and Hearing Science (SHS) (http://shs.illinois.edu) is seeking to recruit an outstanding speech-language pathologist for a full-time, 11-month, non-tenure track position as a Clinical Assistant Professor, with opportunity for advancement.

Proposed Starting Date: August 16, 2018.

Responsibilities: Provide clinical supervision to students in the M.A. Speech-Language Pathology program, assist with the scheduling and coordination of placements in-house and at external sites, and develop a clinical caseload of direct service, while supporting clinical instruction; and contribute to teaching, program development, clinical administrative tasks, or service (or collaborative research, as appropriate).

Qualifications: Applicants must hold a terminal degree for clinical practice in Speech-Language Pathology, have certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and be eligible for an Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license. A minimum of 3 years of full-time (or equivalent) clinical experience is preferred, as well as previous experience with clinical supervision/instruction of graduate students and eligibility for an Illinois Professional Educator License (the license to provide clinical services in the public schools). Salary: Commensurate with experience.
