Associate Professor - Surgical Oncology

The Division of Surgical Oncology is recruiting an experienced surgeon to be based in Colorado Springs. An academic surgical oncologist with board certification in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery or equivalent certification to join an established and growing program. The ideal candidate would be comfortable with all aspects of general surgical oncology including Gastrointestinal, Hepatobiliary, Breast, Melanoma and Sarcoma.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • MD/DO
  • Board certified in General Surgery
  • Formal Surgical Oncology Fellowship trained
  • CO Medical license or license eligible


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Clinical expertise in the full spectrum of surgical oncology diseases
  • Surgical program development
  • Successful background in scholarly activities
