Project GO Ambassador - Institutional Student Worker (Fall 2017)

General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Project GO Ambassador. Project GO Ambassadors will represent the various Project GO programs at various community and recruitment events. Ambassadors will attend events hosted by the university such as UNG's open house or by outside entities like local high schools. Ambassadors need to be comfortable speaking with potential students, parents, and in front of groups.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The student will:
  • Conduct information sessions/presentations one-on-one or in front of groups to share their experience in the Project GO programs at UNG.
  • Represent Project GO program at various events.
  • Be in good standing within the university and Project GO program.
  • Engage in program related social media presence.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to speak in front of groups.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and attend events on a flexible and on-demand schedule.


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker
  • Current participant in ROTC and previous experience with Project GO Programs.
